Unsure about the seat height?
There are two types of bar stools: those designed for kitchen islands and those suited to bar tables, which are generally taller.
To make the right choice, start by measuring the height of your table:
- If your island is between 87 and 100 cm high, choose a seat height between 62 and 70 cm.
- If your high table or bar is between 96 and 110 cm high, opt for a seat height between 71 and 80 cm.
For optimal comfort, allow approximately 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the tabletop.

Description
La chaise de bar Melchior associe une assise et un dossier capitonnés en cuir synthétique noir, posés sur une coque en placage noyer, et un pied central en métal noir.
L'assise se règle de 65 à 86 cm : elle s'accorde à un îlot de 90 à 95 cm en position basse, et à un bar de 110 à 115 cm en position haute. Pivotante, elle permet de se tourner sans la déplacer et facilite les échanges autour de l'îlot. Large de 51 cm, l'assise est garnie d'une mousse de 24 kg/m³ : un rembourrage souple, plus moelleux que ferme. Un repose-pieds circulaire permet de poser les jambes sans les laisser dans le vide. Le cuir synthétique se nettoie d'un simple coup d'éponge, un atout de taille au quotidien.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : le noir et le noyer se marient très bien avec le laiton et un plan de travail en marbre blanc, sous une suspension en métal doré, comme la Elora. Découvrez toute la collection Melchior : la chaise de bar existe aussi en blanc, pour une cuisine plus lumineuse.
