Mango wood buffet with marble top

The Sandro sideboard combines two noble materials: a solid mango wood body stained walnut, with fronts sculpted into raised arches and set on tapered legs, and a top cut from Emperador marble. Mango is a hard, dense wood, with a unique grain from one piece to the next, harvested from fruit-bearing trees without deforestation. Emperador marble, sourced from Spanish quarries, features a deep brown background streaked with fine light veins; each top, cut from a different block, bears veining found nowhere else, smooth and cool beneath the hand. The raised arches and tapered legs give it a distinct retro character.

Behind its three doors, two solid wood shelves hold tableware, linens or carafes, supporting up to 12 kg per shelf. Taller than a classic sideboard (90 cm), Sandro places its marble top at hand height, making it practical for serving or setting things down, while its 45 cm depth lets it sit flush against a wall without taking over the room. Adjustable glides beneath the unit compensate for slightly uneven floors, and it arrives assembled.

Our interior designer's inspiration: this sideboard has enough style to stand on its own. On the marble, a brass candlestick and a low ceramic vase are all it takes; the arches and veining provide the décor.

Wipe up any spills immediately: marble is porous and sensitive to acidic substances. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and pH-neutral soap, then dry. For wood, a soft, dry cloth is sufficient, with a special wood oil every six months.
