Walnut mango wood sideboard

The Lio sideboard is a storage unit made from solid mango wood stained walnut, with rounded contours and fronts enhanced by fine vertical fluting. Mango is a hard, dense wood, with a unique grain from one piece to another, harvested from fruit trees that have reached the end of their production cycle, without deforestation. The dark, warm walnut stain and the relief of the fluting give it a graphic look that catches the light differently depending on the angle.

Behind its three doors, two solid wood shelves store dishes, table linens or decanters, holding up to 12 kg per shelf. Measuring 145 cm long and just 40 cm deep, Lio fits against a wall or behind a sofa without obstructing the passage, and its top supports up to 20 kg. Adjustable feet under the unit compensate for a slightly uneven floor, and the sideboard arrives fully assembled. Lio is also available as a TV unit, for a coordinated living room.

Our interior design expert’s inspiration: against a light-coloured wall, the fluting and walnut stain are enough to set the tone. Place a low matte ceramic vase and a metal candle holder on top, leaving the rest of the surface bare; the texture of the wood creates the decor.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stains, use a barely damp sponge and dry immediately. Apply a special wood oil every six months to nourish and protect the wood.
