Description
180 cm for everyday use, 224 cm when entertaining: the Georgette table gains 44 cm in length, providing room for two extra place settings. Six guests can sit down for dinner, or eight once the extension leaf is in place.
The tabletop is walnut veneer, a brown wood with deep undertones, marked by broad flames running its entire length. Veneer is a thin sheet of genuine walnut applied to a stable panel: the wood grain is visible, while the tabletop remains perfectly flat across its 224 cm. Measuring 90 cm wide and 1.8 cm thick, it is supported by four tapered legs made from solid rubberwood stained walnut and can hold up to 150 kg. The rounded corners allow easy movement around the table.
Our interior design expert’s inspiration: walnut is a warm, deep brown, with tones ranging from dark honey to cocoa depending on the flames in the grain. It is this warm foundation that allows it to pair beautifully with bold colours around the table. The Esmée chairs feature the same walnut finish on the backrest, in terracotta velvet for a harmonious look within the same warm palette, or in khaki green velvet for a cooler contrast. In the Georgette collection, we also offer the same table in light wood, with ash veneer.

Care instructions
Dust the tabletop with a dry microfibre cloth, following the grain. Clean marks with a barely damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately to prevent water rings and veneer swelling. Avoid solvents, alcohol, abrasive products and wax. Use trivets and coasters: heat and moisture can mark the nitrocellulose finish. Operate the extension mechanism with two people, without forcing it, to avoid misaligning the runners.
