Une assise en cannage de rotin sur des pieds fuselés en teck massif : le tabouret Jacques vient d'une petite usine de l'île de Java, en Indonésie, où chaque pièce est poncée une à une.
Le cannage est un tressage de brins fins tirés de la canne de rotin, une surface ajourée, souple sous le poids. Un vernis transparent protège le teck et laisse le grain apparent.
À 47 cm du sol, l'assise de 48,5 x 34 cm se situe à la hauteur d'une chaise de repas : siège d'appoint ou repose-pieds. La structure ouverte lui vaut une allure mid-century. Elle supporte 100 kg.
L'inspiration de notre expert déco : près d'un canapé en lin écru, le cannage clair se marie très bien avec un tapis en jute et un panier tressé.

For regular maintenance, remove dust with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to the woven areas. In case of a stain, use a slightly damp sponge with a little soap, then dry immediately. Avoid prolonged contact with water: natural rattan is not resistant to moisture. For indoor use only, away from direct sunlight.
